I'm giving this 4 stars because it's a good recipe to start with but to me, needed some tweaking to suit my taste. Since some readers commented that the chicken was bland, I brined my chicken with salt, sugar, the spices listed in the recipe and vinegar. Instead of 1/2 cup balsamic, I used 1/4 and added 1/4 of red wine. To make the dish more saucy, I doubled the tomatoes using one can of rotel and one can of italian spiced tomatoes. After the sauce simmered and the chicken was cooked through, I thought the sauce was a little too tart so I added a tablespoon of honey to balance the flavors.
