Tequila Shrimp

Made the dish as exactly specified in the recipe, and wasn't that fond of it -- basically because the tequila flavor was way too overpowering. I would definitely try the recipe again, though, with some moderations.

Original Nestle® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Cookies

Of course they're great - but also equally as good without the nuts. Try substituting a portion of the chocolate chips with butterscotch chips. Yummy!

Chocolate Toffee Crunch Bars

I just LOVE this recipe!!! I make these anytime I have to take a dessert someplace. I've never met a single person who didn't like these toffee bars. It's worth the pain of stirring the toffee forever when you hear all of the rave reviews. BIG HINT: I use sliced almonds on top instead of walnuts - it makes the cookies look beautiful! Many people thought I had bought them from a bakery - they looked professionally done with the almonds on top.

Chicken Slop

Bacon Chicken II

It was easy to make and pretty good. Not the best dish ever, but I'll probably use the recipe again when I need something in a hurry. If you need an easy, no fuss recipe, try this one. The disappointing part was that none of the bacon got crispy. I suggest putting the bacon on top instead of the remaining sauce.

Pepperoni Bread

This always goes over well at my parties - there's never any left over. I usually use Pillsbury French Loaf instead of the frozen bread dough (it takes less time to cook), and I have substituted turkey pepperoni for the regular. I actually like the turkey pepperoni better, because it make the pepperoni bread less greasy. My most finicky eaters never knew the difference.

Chicken and Broccoli Braid

This recipe was a huge hit with company! Since I'm not a dill weed fan, I was going to bypass using it. Instead, I only added 1 tsp., and I'm glad I did. It wouldn't have tasted as good without the dill. Easy recipe to make substitutions to the filling (ham and cheese, vegetarian, etc).

Chocolate Cherry Drops

I didn't use the exact recipe. Because I'm allergic to walnuts, I added almonds instead (sliced almonds broken into tinier pieces) and also substituted a tiny bit of the vanilla extract for almond extract, which worked out nicely. Would make these again.
