About this Cook
I am a mom of two busy boys, ages 3 and 1. I've always loved cooking, and when I was a little girl I wanted to be an astronaut or a chef. I did not become either as a profession, but still love to cook when I get a chance and have become very good at doing it while my pant legs are being pulled on. More than cooking, I love to photograph and style food.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking veggies and soups most. I'm still perfecting my meat skills, but have been known to spark up the BBQ and try my hand with that. I also love to use leftovers in creative ways.

White Chili with Ground Turkey
I LOVE this chili and make it at least 2x per month. It has depth and an interesting spice mix. I usually let it simmer for a longer time to let the flavors meld. I also add a couple of chopped carrots and/or frozen corn to the pot as well. Yum!
