About this Cook
Recently made the decision to stop eating all meat and poultry, as well as any kind of processed food, currently undergoing a mass cull of my recipe box! Feeling so much better for it, and found new excitement in cooking again. Looking for good quality vegetarian recipes and wholesome healthy dessert recipes - really good ones are few and far between - in the throws of creating my own blog for this reason.
My favorite things to cook
Since moving to Canada I love experimenting with the crock pot - I'd never used one in England. On a mission to find really good vegetarian recipes that can be slow cooked whilst at work.

Mushroom Stuffing
This was quite nice, although I think it could have done with a bit more punch to it, perhaps a bit more onion than the recipe called for and some sage as we found it slightly bland. I also think it would have worked better with cubed bread rather than finer breadcrumbs.

Extreme Veggie Scrambled Eggs
Well, I am an old quite experienced cook and I really loved this! I've made many an omellete, but other than adding cottage cheese I've never been very adventurous with scrambled eggs! Thank you for a wonderfully inspired idea. I loved the flavours, and had it for lunch :)

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup
This recipe is simply excellent. Don't understand the bland comments as it tastes like freshly made soup is supposed to taste delicious and natural not canned or chemical. I use vegetable stock to keep the soup vegetarian friendly - I have also used half cauliflower and half brocolli and as other reviewers suggest - use a potato masher not an electric blender for superb results - thanks.
