About this Cook
I am a person who loves to cook for those who like to eat and enjoy their food. I'm 5ft. 7 inches, heavy set, 55 yr. old and was raised in the country, in an apple orchard.
My favorite things to cook
Cookies are my favorite but I just love cooking
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love recreating the dessert table delights of the Christmas goodie corner. Our goodies included cookies and candies from Denmark, Russia, Germany, America and just lots of good stuff and love. Every cookie and candy is made with love and tasted with the same love that's meant to generate.
My cooking triumphs
Successfully passing the buck! When my two daughters ended up being as good at cooking as my Grandmother, Mother and myself, I'd say that the pride beacons throughout their lives and it's up to them to pass the buck!
My cooking tragedies
Tragedies happen all the time, in the kitchen. If you don't have tragedies, once in a while, you don't learn how to master the big problems...and get over them!! Among the "tragedies" is having a powder sugar fight, with my grandson, while making cookies for Christmas. Who started it? Grandma JoJo, of coarse!!

Best Brownies
I shouldn't even give this one star. I've made a lot of Brownies before, but never any that tasted like this!

Emergency Garlic Bread
This is a recipe I've used for years. Recently, I added Parmesan cheese too. Wow, it really classed it up! Yummy.

Mother-in-Law's Chops
I'm sorry but I didn't care for this much. It just tasted too ketchupy. I only put in half the ketchup and it still had too much of the taste. I won't be making this again.
