Chewy Maple Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
I just made these with only a few changes. I substituted butter for the shortening (personal preference) and omitted the coconut. Half the batch I made with bacon bits, half without. Both are amazing!!! Used an ice cream scoop and got giant yummy chewy cookies! Might add more maple next time, but were wonderful as is. Thanks for the recipe! Will definitely make again!!

Cake Mix Cookies IV

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2010
In case nobody has ever tried it, you can use a brownie batter instead of the cake mix as long as it is a similar sized package. For half of the batter, i rolled the balls in powdered sugar, and the other half added dark chocolate chips. sooo good!!

Whoopie Pies I

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2010
Followed the cookie recipe only and it was very dry and bland. Used a cream cheese frosting recipe from this site and only slathering that on the pie makes it edible. Will not make again, sorry.

Mushroom Turkey Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2010
Really pretty tasty. I changed things a tiny bit. I added some onions and some garlic powder as well as a bit of cheese on top. I used a package of Jennie-O pre-cooked turkey with gravy cut into chunks. It made everything really easy. Thanks for a good recipe!

Microwave Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2010
I used one apple and doubled the crisp and it was delicious! I only microwaved it for 7 minutes and it was done but that may be differences in microwaves. Great, easy recipe!!

Mom's Applesauce Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
Oh WOW!! I just made these and they are absolutely delicious! Maybe the best pancakes I've ever eaten.... I want another but I'm too full because I ate three already! I modified it a tiny bit by using half and half instead of milk, left out the lemon juice and added a shake of pumpkin pie spice. Soooo good! Will definitely make again!!

Banana Nut Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
This recipe was delicious. I substituted the pecsns for 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and it turned out really yummy. If I had a suggestion, I would say definitely mash the bananas before you put them in, NOT after. I ended up having really big chunks of banana in my pancakes. But it was still good!

Meatball Sandwich

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
Delicious sandwich! I love the idea of baking them! I usually fry them which is annoying. Baking was way easier!! I baked them for almost 30 minutes which was perfect. Very moist. Thanks!

Banana Crepes

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
I give this four stars only because I didn't try the banana/carmel topping so I don't feel I can give the whole recipe 5. But the crepes themselves definitely deserve 5 stars! They were so yummy! I filled them with jam and whipped cream and they were delicious!!! Great crepe recipe!!

Blueberry Coffee Cake III

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
DELICIOUS!!! I made it for breakfast this morning and it was fantastic. I cut the recipe in half but used the normal amount of topping. Baked it for 30 min at 375 then turned the oven down to 350 and baked for 10 min more. Turned out perfect. Only one piece left (which won't last long!)

Chocolate Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
Pretty delicious. I used milk instead of the water and added some corn syrup but those were the only changes I made. Makes for delicious hot chocolate, chocolate milk and I'm planning on dipping bananas in it later. Thanks for a yummy sauce!

Cheese and Bacon Potato Rounds

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
Just a quick tip: if you do end up frying them, make sure you watch them. I left them alone for a couple minutes while I was reading other people's reviews and some of them burned. The others were delicious, though. My sister loved them! Good recipe.

S'More Bars II

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
I halved the recipe and used semi-sweet chips. They're delicious but I think next time I will use milk chocolate. I think it just depends on preference. I prefer milk to semi-sweet so for me, I think milk would be better. Good recipe!

Amazing Pecan Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2008
I just tried this recipe and it absolutely delicious! (And I'm picky, so if I say it's good, it's good!) I divided the recipe in half because I was making it for myself and I used 1/4 cup sour cream and 1/4 cup half and half instead of the 1/2 cup of sour cream. Very, very, very good. Adding blueberries might make it even better :) Update: I just made this wonderful recipe again today, only I changed a few things. I halved the recipe (which still makes a good sized cake!), added 1 cup diced frozen strawberries and 1/2 cup of chopped pecans. (I got rid of the brown sugar topping.) It came out sooo yummy! I will definitely use this recipe again and again!

Buttery Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
I tried to make the dough in the bread machine and either I did it wrong or it wasn't meant for the bread machine. The dough was very tough when it came out and would not shape into twists. They taste all right, I guess, but I don't know if I will try this recipe again or not.
