About this Cook
I'm a mother of two beautiful little girls. They tend to keep me busy most of the day, but when I do get a chance I love to dabble into different recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make a filipino dish called chicken adobo, it's my absolute favorite and I love to mix up a big lasagna and mix up the ingredients to make it different each time.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Big christmas breakfast, with everything you could imagine on the table.
My cooking triumphs
The first time I made eggplant parm, it came out wonderfully.
My cooking tragedies
I planned a little post christmas turkey dinner with my girlfriends which was about a dinner 10 plus our children. I had everything going great and after I took the turkey out, my stove DIED!

Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs
This was delish a little sweet but good! I made the meatballs as stated but i didnt cook in my oven did it stovetop. I also dont have any cornstarch i mixed a little flour/butter mixture into the sauce and that thickened up real well with no lumps, all u do is take your flour mix into butter to create these butter balls and drop in, they melt and thicken. Easy!

Oatmeal Toffee Cookies
these cookies were ok I used butterscotch instead of toffee and didn't like it all that much but I bet they would be better with the toffee!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing
great stuffing I did not do the whole shabang of making the actually stuffing itself, I used a boxed stuffing and added the apples, onions and cranberries. I also cooked it in broth instead of water that is stated on the box. Pretty good short-cut that left my family thinking it was homemade!!!!
