Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

I have struggled with pie crust, and this one must be fool proof because it comes out great. I have made it twice now and each time was delicious. I used butter flavored crisco

Buttermilk Chess Pie

The best and easiest buttermilk pie I have ever made. I get lots of great feedback as well! The bake time does need to be increased by about 5 -10 minutes

Holiday Chicken Salad

I added just a squirt of dijon mustard, and really gave it a nice flavor. I used grapes instead cranberries. It was delicious!

Mediterranean Linguine with Basil and Tomatoes

I used less oil, about 1/3 cup, added extra garlic and let the tomatoes and garlic simmer for about 10 minutes before adding to pasta

Chocolate Chess Pie I

Chicken Fiesta Salad

This is good for those hot summer days when you don't want the stove going. Don't forget to top with crushed tortilla chips, really adds good texture.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

So easy and delicious!! We were scraping our plates clean!! I used broth instead of water, and added a dallop of sour cream at the end.

My Husband devoured these sandwiches! Going off of other reviews I used consomme instead of broth, added black pepper and minced garlic. I also chopped up some celery to cook in the sauce as well. Used sliced Mozzarella, broiled in oven and served with mashed potato!! This will be a regular in my house!

Vegetable Chowder

I double the entire recipe, but still use only 3-4 cups of cheese. This is a winter time regular, and it's a great way to get in some veggies.

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

Chocolate Chip Cake

Great and easy! I didn't have the german chocolate, I just used semi sweet baking squares, and grated them. My husband and kids at it at record speed, and wanted to know when I would be making it again!

World's Best Lasagna

This really isn't that hard. Just throw it together and let it do the work. This was the first time I had ever made my own sauce. I only had ground beef, but it was still delicious!!

Cheese Ravioli with Fresh Tomato and Artichoke Sauce

This was good and easy to make. I used tortelloni, instead of ravioli.I also had some tomatoes from my grandmothers garden, which made the flavor amazing!
