Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2010
SO good I made a whole seasoning jar. When I want a good rotisserie style chicken, I just mix with olive oil with a couple tablespoons and brush on chicken. It browns beautifully.

Easy Mushroom Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
This was really easy and came out very good. I substituted the french onion soup for cream of mushroom and did it on the stove top. Melted the butter in the pot, then added the rice with diced onion and a little bit of garlic. Stirred until rice was golden, then added chicken broth and cream of mushroom, turned heat to low then let simmer. It came out great!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2008
I followed some of the reviewer's suggestions by doubling the golden mushroom soup and water. I browned the beef with onions and then mixed half a pouch of liption onion soup mix with a beef bouillion. Added salt, pepper and garlic and cooked on high for about 5 hours. It was delish! Served with noodles. I also added sauteed mushrooms.

I followed another reviewer's suggestion and doubled the sauce and I also substituted half the ketchup for barbeque sauce. I also added a little bit of water to help keep it from being too dry. This was great!

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake VII

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2008
My Husband could not stop talking about this cake. I would suggest cutting down on the brown sugar cause it was very sweet. I used pineapple cake and baked mine for about an hour at 375F. Don't know if using a silicone bakeware had anything to do with it. Anyway, I made a whole 9in round cake and two mini ones with my stoneware.

White Cake Frosting I

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2008
I was looking for frosting for my cupcakes and I followed the recipe exactly. However I ended up with really thin icing and it tasted too much like powdered sugar.

Cindy's Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2008
I followed the recipe exactly only substituting the vanilla ice cream for butter pecan. I melted my ice cream in the microwave then whisked everything together until smooth with a hand mixer. I also used store bought pie crusts. I did not have a problem with the filling separating. It tasted great! My husband and I nearly finished two pies in three days. btw, don't forget to cover your crusts after the first 15 minutes.

Sweet Potato Bread I

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2008
My husband who is a picky eater and isn't a fan of sweet potato likes the sweet potato bread. Now that's saying something! Although I would have to say, it is very similar to the pumpkin bread.
