Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

The perfect cupcake frosting! After reading the reviews of this recipe here, I decided to use 12 ounces of Cream Cheese instead of the 8 the recipe called for hoping that would keep the frosting thicker. I used two separate bowls for mixing my ingredients (one for whipping the cream and one for the other ingredients) and kept everything very cold until I was ready to mix. It turned out thicker than a simple whipped cream frosting and very easy to spread over my cupcakes. It is lighter than a traditional buttercream, though. My daughter has already declared this her favorite frosting and expects a birthday cake covered with it in February! Thanks for this one!
