Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
"better than costco, or Paradise Bakery"- Awesome!! Made a batch to take to the in-laws. My fam came over and ate them all. Had to make more. I reserved about 1/5 of the dough and added walnuts and made smaller cookies which also were delish.

Beef Tenderloin With Roasted Shallots

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
REALLY GREAT! I didn't cook as long because we like our steaks really tender (plus when you reheat leftovers you end up cooking it even more). I added fresh mushrooms and doubled the sauce. Also I added cornstarch and cold water to make a paste then added to the sauce to thicken. We don't care for runny sauce.

Baked French Fries I

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
Awesome! Takes a long time but worth it. I used kosher salt and all the spices in the recipe and then added steak seasoning.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
Taste better than hot wings from the pizza place! Hubby loved them. Be sure to buy the wingettes. Instead of using just regular hotsauce in the recipe, I used Franks wing sauce. ADD ONION POWDER, GARLIC POWDER AND SEASON SALT TO MY FLOUR MIXTURE,

To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
The BEST! I used 5 cloves of garlic like another review suggested, my husband couldn't eat it-too strong. Next time I make I'll just use 2 cloves. By the way, we both love garlic but 5 is just too much.

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
If I could give 6 stars I would. Changes made based on other reviews: doubled seasonings and added 1tsp of each, onion pdr, garlic pdr, and basil. Doubled mushrooms and Marsala, left out sherry, added 3/4 c of ckn broth, 2T. heavy cream and 1T. of corn starch. OH SO GOOD!

Pork Chops with Fresh Tomato, Onion, Garlic, and Feta

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
I use a pint of regular cherry tomatoes, and leave out the fetta. I've made it with balsamic and red wine vinegar (I like the red wine vinegar best) both turn out great. Also, I let it sit in the pan for about 20 minutes afterwards to set the flavors. MMMMM

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
I use a canned sauce because the sauce takes too long. I only use this recipe for the meatballs. I also add onion, garlic, and italian seasonings to the meat.

A Jerky Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
Not that great. WAY to hot and used 1/2 the habanero (but I also used the seeds). I love extremely spicy stuff but it was too hot. I probably won't make again.

Not that good. Husband's fave is peanutbutter cookies. I ate one. They were soft which was good but really dry.

Mushroom Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2008
REALLY TASTETY!!! I will definately make again. The flavor is hard to describe. Revisions made: halved the muchrooms and onion. Not as good with cressant roll dough. Definately use a pie crust! Also I only ever use just one- on the top of the pie.

All Day Macaroni and Cheese

Awesome! Just like the buffet serves. I took another reviews advise and used velveta (6-8 oz) and didn't cook the pasta first. I didn't have elbow mac so I used mini ziti.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: May 3, 2008
It was edible. Nothing like real Chicken and Dumplings made on the stove. I'll spend the extra time for the good stuff, guess I'm spoiled. It's an easy and quick recipe for those that don't cook regularly.
