Ricardo's Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2008
This recipe produces the best pizza crust! My family just loved it. I used the same amount of sugar as written and do not find the crust to be too sweet. I omitted the dried herbs. I even save some dough and fried it to make fried dough sprinkled with sugar. Yummy, just like at the carnival, even better.

Deep Dish Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2007
Thank you so much for this recipe. So far, this is the best brownies recipe I have ever attempted. I used only 2 eggs and omitted the baking powder to get chewy brownies, as other reviewers suggested. So scrumptious!

Alfredo Mostaccioli

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2007
I don't understand what is so special about the recipe. I used fresh grated cheese and it definitely needed some salt to it. Good thing my guests enjoyed the dish because I think it is too plain.

Strawberry Vanilla Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2007
Like other reviewers, I found the strawberries were sour although when eaten on its own, they are quite sweet. The pancakes are edible just not to our liking.

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: May 29, 2007
This is so yummy! I used 2 cups of milk following the previous reviewers but the pudding got so thick and too sweet that I have to add more milk later. I wonder if they used the smaller box of instant pudding? I should follow exactly like the recipe and don't forget to let the cream cheese to room temperature and beat it really smooth to have a nice consistency.

Naan

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2006
The bread is sooooo good and soft. This is just like what you can find in Indian restaurants but without the taste of their special tandoor(clay) oven. Make sure you don't dump all the flour at once. When the dough already become soft, you should stop. I only used 4 cups of flour, using my KitchenAid mixer. I guess it depends on the humidity while you are kneading it. The recipe is surely a keeper!

Black Forest Mini Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2006
The taste is delicious and creamy. I think to get the look like the picture, the recipe will produce less than 24 cupcakes because you need to fill the batter almost to the top. I used to skip the sour cream topping but yesterday I tried it with the topping, just heavenly.

Elizabeth's Extreme Chocolate Lover's Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2006
It is chocolatey but wasn't as moist as I think it should be. I also like the previous reviewer was unable to cream the butter with the sugar, it seemed like the butter was not enough?

Banana Coconut Loaf

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2006
This is soooo good. I substituted chocolate chips for cherries that I don't care for and this is the best banana bread I have ever tasted. I would probably add half cup more mashed bananas for more flavor.

Satay Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2006
This sauce is surprisingly very good with very little ingredients. In my country we make this sauce from scratch and it is a very tedious process. I am so happy to find this recipe. So close to the original. If you like it hot like me, you can add sambal oelek (hot red chili sauce)or red chili flakes.Yumm!
