About this Cook
Hi! My names Megan. I'm happily married with a 5 year old boy and a little baby girl. Although I lead a busy life I try to fit things that I enjoy into my days, lucky for the family I enjoy cooking ;)
My favorite things to cook
I like cooking someones favorites, especially when I know its going to come out perfect and get good reviews. On the other hand I like trying new recipes. Especially the ones that take longer and more to them. Its not so thrilling when an easy recipe comes out as it is, as opposed to the ones that youve been working on half a day on.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Lots of food on the holidays basically. Very few recipes were handed down to me. I dunno if thats maybe because they have all been eating the same things for generations or if I just missed out for some reason but I seem to be expanding the traditions for my kids :)
My cooking triumphs
The first time I cooked for my inlaws. I just made a basic chicken and rice and they were practically licking the plates! What a relief :D
My cooking tragedies
Most of my tragedies are down to my shopping, forgetting things is the main factor in my failures. So right in the middle of a big recipe I realize I have forgotten somehting vital and have to think quick and make what ive started into something altogether different!

Chicken Crunch
Tasty recipe! Next time i will use a smaller dish tho, 9x13 was far too big in my opinion. Also ill add more crackers to the top.
