About this Cook
I am a simple country SAHM to 3 kids under 6 years old. I love the Outdoors and love to garden. I try to stay away from as much processed food as I can. Every summer my kiddos love helping mom can up all the goodies that come out of the garden.
My favorite things to cook
We are from WV so we have a lot of meat including Wild Game. But I still like to try out some fancy recipes now and again.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom did not teach me to cook, my grandma did. Many times I stood on the chair and watched her cook, never using a measuring cup.
My cooking triumphs
I remember when I finally mastered Rolls, Bisquit, and Gravy. Many years my husband ate hockey puck Bisquits.
My cooking tragedies
Ha sometimes my husband really laughs at me because I like to try new recipes. He is the simpler one. There has been many a recipes that my dear husband probably wished I would have skipped over~

Delicious Egg Salad for Sandwiches
Very good base but I added some celery and pickles along with a pinch of Dill Weed, Parsley and pepper. Turned out Excellent!

Skillet Pork Chops Florentine
We are not big on spinich. I am always looking for recipes to sneak in the yucky veggies. This was great, The cheese topped the whole thing off. There was not a piece left on my kids plates.

Glazed Meatloaf II
The best meatloaf to date. Usually my meatloaf falls apart. Loved the idea of the bread on the bottom to soak up the grease. Really loved the sauce. I did however add green peppers, onion and sage to my meatloaf.
