Pad Thai

I was so happy with the results of this recipe! I added about a teaspoon of garlic, as other commenters suggested, and increased the amount of red pepper to 1/4 teaspoon (will use a little more of both next time), but those were the only alterations I made. I was hoping for leftovers but there were none! This recipe was so easy to make, it will definitely become part of my standard rotation.

Crabby Cream Cheese Wontons

I liked the flavors but I was expecting something that tasted more like what I've had in a restaurant. The soy sauce and Worcestershire overwhelmed the light flavor of the crab, I think.

Chocolate Chiffon Cake

I was making this cake for my holiday dinner. Now I wish I'd had a back-up plan; the instruction that this cake is done when it springs back to the touch is pretty imprecise. It sprung back; but when I inverted it to cool (also per the instructions) about 1/3 of the cake fell out of the pan as it was NOT done. It is a lovely cake with very nice flavor, but not in elegant condition and I'm very disappointed.

Chocolate Cream Pie II

Love this pie! I like that it is not a milk chocolate, and I think the sweetness is just right. The first time I made it I followed the recipe and it did not set. The second time I followed the tips of the reviewers and much more cornstarch and it was a very firm set - almost too firm! But the flavor is wonderful.

Honey Wheat Bread III

I've attempted this recipe twice, and have not been satisfied with the results. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I don't put all the white flour in as the dough gets to feeling very heavy while kneading, and it rises well, and yet I still end up with a very dense loaf.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

This pizza crust turned out exactly as I hoped/expected - crispy yet chewy, with a nice flavor (not a flour taste like some other crusts I've made from scratch). I put it in the oven by itself for about six minutes before adding the toppings and the center turned out just right.
