Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2014
This was easy to put together, and everyone in my family enjoyed it. I made it from memory & I forgot a couple of things, but it still turned out very good. It would be easy to tailor it to your own tastes.

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2013
This was amazing. It was so easy too. I was very nervous hoping it would be good for my guests. It did not disappoint me at all. I read the reviews & did not use the mustard or hot sauce. It was delicious, Thank you.

Chiles Rellenos Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2013
I made this for a large brunch. It was really well liked. I did not add the chicken. Chili rellenos is my favorite mexican dish and I always order it w/o meat. This was my favorite dish at the brunch. I served it with warm tortillas on the side. It was so easy, I loved it.

Mexican Bean Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2013
Awesome. Made as written. It has such a nice fresh taste with the citrus juices & fresh cilantro. I have made it several times now sometimes making slight changes. If you like a little more spice it's very good with a finely chopped fresh jalapeno.

Baked Ham with Sweet Glaze

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2013
I made this recipe for Easter, it was delicious. The ham was moist & not salty. I was preparing quite a few dishes in the oven, so I used a Nesco roaster for the ham. That's the only thing I did differently.

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2013
I really loved this recipe. I followed it as written & it was perfect. We liked it even better the next day after it was refrigerated. I frosted a banana cake with it & it was delicous. Can't wait to try it on carrot cake & hummingbird cake. Yummmm

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2013
This recipe was very tasty & easy to make. I also used the same pan I cooked the rice in to cook the pudding. My mom ate a double recipe in 2 days. She would add a little milk to a serving & warm it in the microwave. She really loved this recipe.

Banana Flips

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
I finally made this recipe today, and my family & I LOVED it. I have always been a big fan of the banana flips made by Hostess & this was so much better. I did make a couple of slight changes to the filling. I mixed the flour & milk together and cooked it until thickened. Instead of banana extract (I did'nt have any) I threw in a couple of ripe bananas while mixing the flour mixture with sugar/butter mix. This was so light & tasty I will definitely make again. Thank you Erin.

Sopapilla Cheesecake Dessert

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2012
For the ease of this recipe it deserves 5 stars. It tasted very good, but it seemed to be missing something. Maybe a little lemon juice or zest? I will definitely make again. I used the crescent dough that's in a sheet rather than perforated. It couldn't have been easier. Thanks for sharing.

This recipe was very easy, but I was somewhat disappointed with it. It was not the creamy cheesy mac n cheese that I was hoping for.

Jicama and Pineapple Salad in a Cilantro Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly and it went over very well. I made it as a salad for Easter dinner and everyone that tried it liked the freshness & the textures of it. I liked that the heat kind of crept up in my mouth & didn't slap me in the face. I could distinctly taste all of the flavors. Very good & nice to try something new.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
I finally made this recipe & it was a great success. It tasted so fresh. It was nice to bring something different to a party. The combination of fruits can be tailored to your likes/dislikes. I used all the suggested fruits plus Braeburn apple, fresh pineapple, blueberries, blackberries & canned mandarin oranges. I used a "Vidalia Chop Wizard" to cut up the apples , pineapple.& strawberries. It worked really well and chopped everything very uniformly. I rough chopped the blackberries & oranges. For the chips I lightly brushed w/melted butter, stacked 3 or 4 & cut into wedges. Then I shook in a bag w/sugar & cinnamon. I think they were the real star. Everyone was munching & commenting on how good they were. I purposely went light on the sugar in the fruit because the chips are sweet. Thanks for a great recipe.

Rhubarb Dream Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2009
I was disappointed with this recipe. I like rhubarb, but i couldn't really taste it in these bars. The sweetness was overwhelming even after cutting down the amount of sugar.
