Sweet and Sour Chicken I

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2014
Didn't like the way the chicken came out, next time I'll make that my own way. But the sauce was delicious. Served over rice.

Wasn't bad, but since cheesecake is the only type of cake I'll eat I'm pretty picky and I've definitely had better.

Chicken and Bow Tie Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2012
I made a few alterations myself but I think it turned out good and the kids gobbled it down. I sauteed the chicken in oil in a big skillet and seasoned the chicken with Tastefully Simple Italian Seasoning. I then added the broccoli and garlic. I made chicken broth using chicken broth granuales and mixed it with one container of onion and chive sour cream, added the pasta last. Gave it a couple good stirs to get the sause all over everything and it was ready to go. The sauce wasnt very thick but it didn't need to be, it was rich in flavor.

Salsafied Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2012
My husband is VERY picky so when he likes something I always like to leave a review, and he liked this. I only did it slightly different. The only thing I measured was the rice and salsa everything else I just kind of tossed it in there. I didn't have chicken broth so I used chicken broth granuales and mixed w/1 cup of water. I used bone-in chicken and just cup it up before I cooked it. The last thing I did different was, I added sour cream. Not to all of it just a dollup in individual bowls.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2012
My husband picked this recipe after he signed me up for a chili cook off at his squadron. We took 2nd place and I was told it was the first empty pot. I did make a few changes (because my husband is picky). I used busch's chili beans so I think they were 16oz cans. Instead of 2 cans diced tomatoes w/juice and 2 green chile peppers I used the 10oz cans of rotell with green chiles in it. I used maybe 3/4 of an onion, not a whole one. I only used one celery stalk, and NO bell peppers at all. It doesn't say what kind of beer to use (full or light) but I used Coors light. And those are the only changes I made. While making it I thought it was REALLY spicey but after stirring real good and letting it simmer it had the perfect amount of spice. This is going to be my new go to chili.

I'm sorry to say I did not care for these. My husband took them to work with him and no one liked them very much.

Easy Cheesy Chicken II

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2008
My Fiance and I liked this, but I'm not dying to make it again. I followed the recipe, but I think it needs some changes. I would deffinately add some seasoning to the chicken because otherwise it is just bland. I used Chez-It crackers.
