I've made these shrimp a bunch of times now and they are consistently amazing, earning their five stars every time. You really can't go wrong with this recipe because it's very simple and quick, and since you only have to marinate for an hour you don't have to plan that far ahead to make something delicious. I usually toss in extra cayenne pepper and I've also added a small amount of balsamic vinegar in place of some of the red wine vinegar before. Since I personally like things to be fully submersed in a marinade, one warning is that this recipe doesn't make a lot of it. I generally make a full batch of the marinade for one pound of shrimp (instead of two as listed), otherwise it ends up being a thin coating instead of something that is surrounding and covering every shrimp. Of course this is a personal preference and the first time I made the recipe (using the full two pounds of shrimp) they still came out perfect. You will not be disappointed by this recipe. It lives up to the hype.
