LOVED this recipe! This one is a real winner. I followed the recipe as posted except I used diced red jalapeños in place of the Roma tomatoes.

South Carolina She-Crab Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2012
Oh my gosh! EXCELLENT soup with wonderful flavor. I thought it had better flavor and consistency than any I've had in restaurants. I used Red Rock Crab which seemed perfect for this recipe. The only think I changed was I added about a Tablespoon of Paprika. Thanks for sharing this recipe. It's a keeper!

Sweet Potato Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2011
Excellent flavor and texture. Similar yet surprisingly lighter than a pumpkin pie (not as dense and heavy). It was super simple to make. No need to look any farther than this recipe for a terrific Sweet Potato Pie! Thanks for sharing, this recipe is a keeper!

Fried Green Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
Excellent Recipe! I think the crackers really make this recipe. They fried up nice and crunchy and beautiful golden brown. Thanks for sharing this one, it's a keeper. This recipe simply ROCKS! I've made it several times now and it comes out perfect every time. Just the right crunch and FULL of flavor. I do use a mix of peanut oil and butter for frying, other than that I follow the recipe as posted. Thanks for a GREAT FGT recipe!

Cucumber Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
Just perfect! LOVED the flavor. I stuck with the recipe as posted, then added a few bacon crumbles on top. I salted and drained the cucumbers for 3 hours before making up the salad. This makes the cucumbers very crunchy. Also they don't drain into the dressing to dilute it.

Shredded Beef Enchiladas

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
EXCELLENT! I agree with Christy ~ "time-consuming, but worth it" These had EXACTLY the flavor I was craving. Flavorful but not overpowering. The tortillas did not turn to mush like they did with another recipe I tried. Shredded beef makes ALL the difference compared to ground beef. I did use mild cheddar instead of Monterrey Jack cheese because that's what I had on hand. I'm sure they would have been even better with the jack cheese. Thanks for sharing a GREAT recipe.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2010
WOW! A real winner here. I stuffed a turkey with this dressing and cooked some separately on the side. The side dish came out a little bit better - the stuffing that was in the turkey was a little too moist. It was a 25lb turkey which had a lengthy cooking time so this may be why the dressing inside the bird was a bit too wet. I'll try it again with a smaller bird. Awesome recipe! Thanks for sharing!
