Bread Machine Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2003
Oh my gosh! These are so good and the kitchen smells delicious while they are baking. I'm going to add some minced onion and herbs and serve them for Easter dinner. Thanks for this great recipe!

Honey Butter

Yum! I served this with "Kay's Bread Machine Rolls." The 4 of us ate almost all the rolls simply to have more of this delicious butter. Will be making this again and again. Watch out - it's addictive!

Cornbread Muffins I

A little too sweet for my taste but nice for a mid-morning break. The kids like the boxed mix type better.

Diane's German Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2003
My husband requested a German Chocolate Cake for his birthday. I found this recipe and it was a hit! The frosting takes quite a while to thicken so be prepared to stand by the stove and stir for at least 25 minutes.

YUM! And sooo easy! This was gone the same day I made it. I lined the tray with foil to make clean up easy, too.

Carol's Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2003
Sooo good. I substituted what I had on hand - salsa verde for the chopped green chilis and pinto beans for the canellini beans. My entire family loved it! I left out the crushed red pepper flakes for the sake of the younger children. We will definitely make this again.

Chicken and Dumplings III

This was very good and easy. My five children ages 5-18 all loved it. I thought it was a bit bland and doughy though for adult tastes.

Buttery Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2002
My children and I made these on a Saturday night instead of watching a movie. I decreased the flour to 4 1/2 cups and added a few more tablespoons of water. The dough was easy to work with and the finished product was delicious! Plus, we had a lot of fun. We will make these again and again.

Indian Relish

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2001
This is delicious. I serve it at cocktail parties and give it as a hostess gift with baked pita chips. It is probably too spicy for most children, although you can cut back on the red pepper flakes. ADDICTING!!!

Cheese Wafers

Add water to mixture to make a dough. Slice no less than 1/8 - 1/4 inches. Bake on non-stick sheet sprayed with baking spray or they may stick.
