Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2011
Made as written. Cooked on high for 6 hours. I love how there is no need to brown the beef first. Definitely one of the best Slow Cooker beef stews I have ever made.

Frosted Cranberries

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2009
Beautiful and delicious! I used 1/2 tablespoon water mixed with 1/2 tablespoon corn syrup in place of the egg whites. Also, I used my food processor to make superfine sugar. Just pulse the 1 cup of sugar about 10-15 times.

Best Ever Hot Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2007
This had a very mild taste. However, my 9 year old loved it. And, the plate was licked clean! Next time I'll try adding some cayenne and garlic.

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2003
I just made this for my daughter's varsity soccer team. It was a huge hit! I scaled the recipe to serve 24 and the 16 girls ate it all. Not too cheesy at all. I did cut back the sauce as other readers suggested and used a little bit less mozzarella & provolone because I didn't have enough. Next time I'll use low-fat ingredients but will definitely make this again and again. Thanks for the recipe!

Carrot Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2003
I made this for Sunday dinner. My children were reluctant until they tasted it. There wasn't one spoonful left! I too reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup and let it cook for about 45 minutes until it firmed up. Thanks for the recipe that will have my kids eating their veggies!

Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2003
This was very tasty. I agree that the pastry is more like a pie pastry than a cobbler.
