steamed swiss chard, baked acorn squash and delicious green smoothies! Mostly vegan, getting approximately 10% of my diet from animal protein.

We are making new family cooking traditions that don't involve grease and sugar. We are following Eat to Live by Dr. Fuhrman and my decade-long battle with cholesterol disappeared in six months.
My cooking triumphs
My biggest triumph was moving away from the Standard American Diet (SAD) which produces chronic disease and into a plant-based diet, which has livened me up quite a bit.
My cooking tragedies
They used to be many, but I'm learning more and more everyday about how to cook healthfully. I've made some pretty bad tasting green smoothies ... lol
