Roasted Chickpeas
I decided to do a test-run prior to Super Bowl. 20 minutes at 450 was no good. A few burned, some were crunchy, and some were still soft. I'll try lowering the temp and stirring them occasionally for a more even result. Seemed like 2 Tbl. of oil was too much so I'll cut down on that, too. I'll have to try again and tweak the temp and baking times for a better outcome.

Chocolate Roll I
I was skeptical to try this recipe because of mediocre reviews, but I'm glad I did. I used 4 eggs because that's all I had. I didn't experience the cracking other reviewers did. I oil-sprayed the pan, lined it with wax paper, then sprayed the paper. When I took the cake out, I sifted powdered sugar on the cake, topped it with a clean towel backed with a plastic cutting board (for support), and flipped the cake onto the towel. (The paper stayed in the pan!) I took it to Bible study last night and everyone loved it. I set it out half an hour before serving to soften the chocolate a bit.

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad
I used a 10" springform pan. I used only 1/2 cup of butter in the crust and found the butter didn't seep out the bottom as other reviewers experienced. My only downfall was since I used frozen strawberries, it cooled the gelatin faster than I expected and 15 minutes in the frig was way too long. So I had to slightly "melt" the gelatin on the stove before topping the cream layer. Other than that, it turned out pretty darn yummy!
