These are seriously the best chocolate chip cookies ever, and very hard to stop eating, lol. I'm not fond of overly sweet goodies, so with this I decreased white sugar down to a 1/2 cup, and kept brown sugar at 1 cup. Also didn't use any nuts, kept it simple. Really stellar recipe. I made sure to use the electric beater to get the butter and sugar really soft and fluffy, and did the same with the eggs and other ingredients. Made for some really moist, slightly crunchy, slightly chewy cookies. Wonderful recipe, have made it many many times already. I also keep any leftover cookies in air tight containers or little ziplock bags to keep them fresh and moist for longer. Thank you for this recipe! :)
