Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2013
Loved the depth from the sweetened condensed milk, my whole family thought it was sweet enough. I, unlike other reviewers, would not add any extra sugar & we like our sweets. I do however think you could double the cinnamon.

Whole Grain Breakfast Cookies

Reviewed: May 22, 2012
Holy Yum! I'm not much into health food but my M-I-L is diabetic & I'm trying to get her to eat more whole grains, she never even noticed they were healthy. Don't worry about the consistency of the dough, as it bakes the flax will add a lot of oil to soften it up. I don't have agave so I just used 2/3 c brown sugar.

Cherry Cobbler I

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2011
Make sure the water is boiling when you pour it in. I used tart pie cherries so it wasn't too sweet at all. I used the recipe exactly how it is after reading the reviews. The only complaint was that it was too sweet but that is because people are using sweet cherries.

Dulce de Leche (Brazilian Flan)

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2010
I actually start the sugar on medium until it gets hot and you see little clumps and the sugar starts to turn brown, then I reduce the heat to low/medium low.

White Chip Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2010
So good! The only change I will make next time is only use about 1/2 the chips. Another reviewer said that they hold shape really well and not to be afraid to squeeze them together on the cookie sheet and that is very true. Every one loved them (Oh, and I did use 1/2 white 1/2 brown sugar because I prefer brown)

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
These are great and have a nice buttery flavor. I used whole wheat pastry flour and my husband couldn't even tell. We are trying to lose weight but refuse (don't have the will power) to sacrifice yummy treats so the recipe size was good for us but typically I would double it, you would probably need to increase the bake time to 30 min or so.

Whole Wheat and Honey Pizza Dough

Even my husband who is anti-whole wheat liked it! We topped it with olive oil, fresh topped basil, fresh tomatoes, mozzarella and prosciutto. Very yummy

Cheese Sauce Over Cauliflower

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
This was great, I took advice from other reviewers and added garlic salt. I made a full meal out of this by adding cooked cubed chicken to the veggies (I used mixed veggies instead of just cauliflower). Very yummy, thanks.

Popovers

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2010
Easy and delicious! They cook long enough at a high enough temperature that even some egg allergies don't have a problem with them. My picky eaters, 4 & 6 years old, each ate 3 of them when made in a cupcake pan (they are smaller than from a popover pan)

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2010
Everyone LOVES these cookies, my mom made them every Christmas when I was growing up but I had written her recipe down wrong so it didn't work but this is it. The best cookies ever (and cookies aren't my favorite thing)!!

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2010
Tastes just like homemade french toast, nothing special. It seems like restaurant french toast is always better than homemade so I was looking for something like that. This isn't it.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2009
Very sweet and delicious! I followed some other reviewers' advice and subbed 1/2 cup of apple sauce in place of 1/2 cup of oil and I used 1 cup brown and 1 cup white sugar only. I also used wheat flour. Very good, I made mini loaves and shared them with friends who all enjoyed it very much as well.

Special Lemonade

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2009
Very yummy. I didn't notice any curdling as another reviewer stated. I don't think it is necessary to use the entire lemon peel, maybe I just left it in the blender too long. Keeper.

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2009
My husband and I are meat eaters but I had tried eggplant parmesan before and liked it and eggplant was super cheap so I decided to give it a try. I used 1 eggplant and we had enough for dinner and the leftovers went to work with my husband 2 days later for lunch. We both loved it and my husband said it was even better as leftovers. I'm buying more eggplant tomorrow before the sale is over ($0.55 each) I did soak the slices in saltwater for 20 minutes before cooking.
