Married 20 years, we love to go antiquing and have acquired quite a collection. I love to read good books (Robert Ludlum, Steve Martini, James Patterson, etc.) I also can't live without my Sunday New York Times crossword every week.
My favorite things to cook
baby back ribs on the bbq, mexican dishes, re-creating dishes from restaurants.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We love to have get-togethers where everyone in my family brings a southern dish, e.g., black-eyed peas, hush puppies, biscuits and Karo, etc.
My cooking triumphs
I've perfected a few dishes - lasagna, bbq ribs, chicken gumbo, and some originals.
My cooking tragedies
Once I was entertaining my new sister-in-law's family and friends for a pre-wedding dinner - about 25 of them - and while I aced the chicken, I accidently sprayed liquid smoke on the foccacia bread instead of olive oil. I managed to pull it out, but I could have died!

Beef Florentine
This is basically a lasagna recipe with egg noodles instead of layering lasagna noodles. Same flavors and ingredients.

Jenn's Out Of This World Spaghetti and Meatballs
Made these the other night with my own sauce though (we don't do sweet sauce) I made them exactly as written and hubby raved. I liked them too. The parm makes them very filling and with the fresh oregano, they look pretty too! Will definitely make again. ;')

Chiles Rellenos Pie
I made this last night and it was delicious! I did everything exactly like said but used a 9x11 (didn't have a 11x11) dish. Only thing I might do differently next time (per husband) is add more heat (more chiles) Great recipe!!
