Fried Chicken with Creamy Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2001
I've been making this recipe for years because it is the best. Use a cast iron skillet for the best results. O.K. O.K.! The kitchen's a wreak but the chicken and gravy are great! A messy kitchen is the sign of a good cook! (and with this recipe, you will be!)

Deep Fried Dill Pickles

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2001
I tried it, I liked it. I tried it again, I loved it. Use a good quality pickle (the first time was using cheap-o pickles) makes all the difference. I love it with a ranch dip and not blue cheese dip(too much)! Thanks so much!

Party Kielbasa

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2001
This is a very good recipe! If you like it a little more spicy w/o the work, just replace the catup with cocktail sauce. Also very good.

BBQ Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2001
This is a very good and healthy recipe and a wonderful way to use leftover grilled chicken. I like the idea of the Stubs BBQ Sauce (my favorite) and for Weight Watchers, one serving is 2 points! Thanks so much.

Pan-Fried Asparagus

My Mother-In-Law found this recipe and had me prepare this for a family birthday dinner. I really didn't know how this one would turn out but it was the hit of the dinner. I came off as Super Chef and all I did was mind the skillet. Thanks so much.

Special Deviled Eggs

I collect egg plates so people assume I have the perfect deviled egg recipe. Well I do now. I made these for a family dinner plus some old standards for the kids. The kids tore into these and declared these the winners. Thanks so much.

I love this recipe! My husband thought the recipe could use some peas, so right before I layered on the biscuits I threw in a handful of frozen peas. Perfection.

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2001
I have this recipe simmering in my crock pot as I type. I bumped the soup just a tad by using two cans of Rotel tomatoes and just one can of regular diced tomatoes. Also added hot taco seasoning mix. We don't have kids, nuff said. Sandy
