Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2009
This is wonderful. I have made it three time now in the last four days not just for me but other people and it was loved by all. I did add red & green bell pepper and white onion cut same size cube. As other reviewers said it's a must to use "Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce (Rooster Sauce) I can't imagine using Tabasco or Frank's Hot sauce not the right flavor. But need to be aware the the Rooster Sauce can vary a lot from bottle to bottle. Try this recipe if you like spicy because that it what it is. Thank you for the post kate!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2008
I gave this recipe a five because it is. But don't do what other reviewer said about letting the noodles set in hot water for thirty minutes. My noodles taste like paste, not good. But John's recipe is great. Won't do noodles like that ever ever again. I've been making lasagna for forty years and do not do the noodles that way unless you don't know what noodles should taste like. Thank you John for the post. You sauce is to die for.

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2007
O.K. I waited tell I make this several times because I had some problems with the Falafel falling apart like a lot of you did. I found that if you put it in the frig. and get it cold it cooks wonderfully. I made the recipe just as written but did have to add more bread crumbs but the recipes says add more or less. Thanks Sean for the post. Love this recipe.

Jamie's Minestrone

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2007
O.K. this is the second time I made this and I love it. The first time I made it almost at written and it was really good. But this time I changed some things as per reviews and my own thing. I added about of pound of Turkey Italian Sausage (hot) did half tomato sauce and half Italian style diced tomatoes. And double the amount of garlic (just my thing) anyway it is wonderful. Thank you for the post.

Teena's Spicy Pesto Chicken and Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2006
I love this pasta. I can't tell you how many people I have made it for and they all love it. When I make it just for me I go very spicy, but for company I cut back on the spice. For the chili paste I use Sambal. I wouldn't change a thing. For those that don't like this recipe you must of thought you liked pesto and hot spicy food? This is that and for me couldn't get any better. Thanks LAGIRL!

Irish Egg Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2005
I haven't made these yet. I'm making corned beef today so tomorrow or the next day. But I want to say that a good dipping sauce for these would be creamed horseradish-mustard sauce. I eat that with my corned beef dinner and it's wonderful. 1 cup sour cream, 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard and 2 tablespoon horseradish or to taste. Let you know how the eggrolls turn out when I make them.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2002
I made this recipe three times. The first just like the recipe is printed and it was very tasty but it wasn't like a cheesecake. So the next time I doubled the recipe. I made one batch of filling and added that to the crust and then made another batch and added the pumpkin and spices. This was really like a cheesecake but I had a few lumps. The next time I made sure the cream cheese and eggs were at room temp. and made it the same way as the second time and what a differance. I will be making this over and over. I also made a different crust and cooked it in a springform pan. Thank you so much!

Baked Ziti IV

I made this with Italian Sausage and omitted the rosemary. It was wonderful. I would make this again. I don't know why some of the review's said there was to much sauce. Mine turned out very firm.

Beer Battered Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2002
If I made this recipe again I would add at least salt if not pepper to the flour. The flavor was kind of bland. The batter was not crunchy but I think that was me not the recipe. I think the oil has to be the right temp. to get it crunchy. I would make it again and try different temp's for the oil.
