Orange Cream Cake III

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2008
This sounds like the recipe I've made years ago and I've been looking for it for quite some time. I make it a little different though. I use a packaged sponge cake, cut it up into bite size pieces, place in a 13 x 9 glass or plastic pan, mix orange jello with 1 cup hot water and 1 cup orange juice, while that chills for about 20 minutes, mix 1 container of regular or low fat cool whip and 1 container of no fat/low fat orange or peach yogurt, mix the jello into the cool whip/yogurt and pour it over the pieces of sponge cake, place back in fridge and let set for about 4 hours or over night. This is a nice light dessert for the summer and if you use sugar free ingredients diabetes can enjoy it too!

Grandma's Gingersnap Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2008
A friend of mine gave me this recipe with a little added treat after you bake them. Melt a package of white chocolate chips and approx. 2 tbls. butter and dip just half the cooled cookie in the melted chips and let cool on a piece of wax paper. Compliments the flavor of the cookie. Very addicting!

Pumpkin Fluff Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2008
This is an awesome dip! I make it quite a bit this time of year. My coworkers love it, my family loves it, I love it! And it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO easy to make! The hollowed out pumpkin is a great little presentation. Great with cinnamon graham sticks, apple slices, ginger snaps, nilla wafers.

Growing up in a large family (10 kids) this recipe was made by my mother many, many, times. One of the first dishes I made when I got married (22 yrs. ago) and still a hit with my family! Comfort food! Love it!!!

Apricot Chicken I

Reviewed: May 3, 2008
This is a very easy and tasty dish. My boys love it. I've made this in a crock pot and used skinned and boneless chicken thighs instead and let it cook all day on low. All I do is make rice and veggies and dinner is done in about 20 minutes.
