Quinoa and Black Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2012
If you like cilantro this is a no brainer! So good! I put a dollop of sour cream on mine. Next time I plan to use this a vegetarian filler in a tortilla with some chopped tomatoes and lettuce and wrap it up like a big 'ol burrito. Giddy up.

Artichoke Spinach Lasagna

Could do without the overpowering feta. Also agree with the others to put in uncooked noodles or it will be soggy.

Tastes like minestrone soup. Pasta could be added if desired.

Good grief, my kids ate it ALL! And my son declared I am the best cook in the house! I'll take it! So good, can't wait to make again.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2008
The topping was still too doughy for my family so I will use bisquick next time. Also, I followed the other reviewers advice for spices (cumin, seasoned salt, poultry seasoning, pepper)and vegetables and I am sure that made it more flavorful although a lot more like chicken pot pie than chicken and dumplings. Next time I will not add the poultry seasoning. It was just a little much for this recipe.

Becki's Oven Barbecue Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2008
Like others have said it would be better on a meatier piece of chicken. I think it would be an excellent crockpot recipe.

Definitely could use some vanilla and cinnamon. Good but a bit bland.

Simple Baked Apples

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
Like Applie Pie without the fuss! I only used the milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, flour, and apples, and it still turned out awesome. *I wanted to add that this turned out best when I mixed the milk with the dry ingredients and then poured all of the ingredients over the apples instead of doing it in steps.

Peanut Butter Vegetable Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2008
This soup was incredibly bland. No one in my family liked it and all commented that it was lacking flavor. I am shocked it has such a high rating.

Very good when made with condensed golden mushroom soup in lieu of regular mushroom soup.
