Mom's Coleslaw

I have my own recipe that my family just loves, but I only had half of what I needed so I went looking for a simple recipe, and found this one. And I didn't want to go to the store. This was a great basic recipe. If your looking for a good tasting normal coleslaw, this is your recipe. I did change some things on mine thou, just to kick it up a little..... I added all ingrediants like it called for...then I aded about a forth cup of Ranch with bacon dressing, about 2 or 3 extra splashes of vinegar, some cheyanne pepper ( to taste) salt and pepper ( to taste ) and a pinch of celery flakes, and some onion powder. And make sure you leave it in the fridge for about an hour or so before serving.....Thanks Denise for a good recipe!

Peanut Butter Cake II

This cake is GREAT!!! It was a big hit with the kidz, my daughter wanted it for her birhday party. The only reason it got four stars and not five is because I added a package of cream cheese and some vanilla to the Icing, yummy taste just like the reeses pieces peanut buter!!!! Thanks for the great recipe!

Munchkin's Yummy Waffle Delight with Blueberry Sauce

These were great and the sauce is fantatic. It can be put in the fridge, hold for a couple of days, and you can use it for any kind of topping, Pies, pancakes, ice cream. My familly loves this.

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

This pie is great! I did alter the recipe a little but mostly just for my taste, I did stick to the recipe the first time and it was great. When I altered the recipe all I did, I replaced the half and half with one can of coconut milk and one large can of evaporated milk, instead of flour I added 1/3 cup of corn starch( mix with a little water first for those who are new to the kitchen), I used just a little over 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract, a pinch or 2 of cinnamon, and 3 eggs plus 1 egg yolk, and 1 whole bag of coconut flakes. It made enough to fill 2 deep dish pie shells, which was what I was going for. Anyways I have been looking for a long time for a great recipe and this is the one, even if you don't alter it at all!!! My whole family thanks you, even my 3 year old, that hates coconut, loves this pie!

Iced Mochas

I have been making these for years, I love them! This recipe is the same as I use, except I never actually messured mine. The only reason I gave this a 4 star is because the only thing that could make this better is instead of adding all the milk, add just a little and put in a couple scoops of your favorite coffee flavored icecream, then blend. It's Great.

Lemon Custard Pudding Cake

I just made this cake. My family and I love lemon treats, We loved the flavor of this cake! It was just the right sweet & tarty flavor. The only reason I gave it a rate of 3 Is the consistancy of the cake. It wanted to brown fast on the top but not cook in the middle. I followed the recipe to the T but it still came out like a curddled custard in the middle, I even cooked it for extra time when I checked it after the time that the recipe calls for. I will probably try it agian but maybe loosely covered and at a higher temp.

Gram's Irish Stew

This was a Great recipe, my family loved it. I did tweek it a little, I added 2 cups more of broth, and I substituted the wine with a little broth (have small kids), I also added some celery flakes, and some frozen pees. other than that it was a Great dish!!!!

Poor Man's Hamburger Steaks

I found that the meat was a bit mushy the first time I did it ( following the recipe) so the next time I only added half the milk and and only half the crackers, I also added some misses dask garlic and herb seasoning. And to the soup I mixed it with a pack of brown mushroom gravy mix and 1 1/2 cups of water then I pored the gravy mixture over the patties. It came out great and my family ate right up!!!!!!
