French Toast II

Love this recipe! It is perfect the way it is... however I like to add in a tsp of vanilla! Fantastic recipe, thank you Robert!

I was pretty impressed by this chowder, it tastes amazing! I added carrots and boiled them with the potato in a cup of chicken broth as others had suggested. I minced the onion to insure no one got a big piece of it while eating and because frankly im not a big onion fan. I encourage anyone reading this to try the recipe, its well worth the while. Also take the advice of another reviewers advice- add the 2tbs cornstarch to your milk before adding it in if you want a thicker chowder. As a side note, it took me longer than 30mins to put this dish together, which was fine with me but allow for extra time. (If you are quick at chopping, slicing and dicing you might be able to pull of 30 mins but i really doubt it).

White Sauce for Pasta

Farm Macaroons

Garlic Chicken

This was amazing! I left my chicken to soak overnight in the oil/garlic mixture..... i'll have to try it again just dipped to see if it made a difference but darn this was good. Hah, i'll even try breadcrumbs next time (I was out of those so I crushed up some pita puff chips- and hoped for the best). Other reviewers were right about the parmesan, tastes great- don't skip it! I will definitely make this again! Thank you!

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

For an interesting twist to the average grilled cheese, try adding sliced green olives in with the cheese- makes flipping the sandwich difficult but so worth the effort!

Biscuit Baking Mix

Traditional Mashed Potatoes

Great recipe by itself or try substituting garlic butter.... taste is similar to a certain seafood joint's garlic mashed potatoes. Food for thought! Thanks again for this fabulous recipe!

White Sauce

perfect base for anything really... just have to season it appropriately. I threw in a splash or two of white wine... parmesan cheese, a fistful of pre-grated pizza cheese, some crack peppercorns, a block of frozen chopped spinach, garlic puree and some coarse salt.... but throw in what you like im sure it will still come out great! best of luck to everyone :-)

Creamy Rice Pudding

Coming from a girl that has ruined rice on numerous occasions.... this recipe is virtually impossible to screw up. Follow the directions to a tee and you'll be fine. To repeat another users words of wisdom...once the sugar is added the rice stops cooking. So check that the rice is the right texture first. Many thanks to Erica G for a great recipe. :o)

Bob's Awesome Lasagna

Great recipe- i only give it 4 stars only because you really need an egg in with the cottage cheese & there could have been more meat sauce. Other than that is was pretty darn good and really easy to make. I even hid some spinach in the meat sauce. Excellent basic recipe many things can be added to make this more interesting :-) Thank you Bob!

Cheesy Quiche Crust

Thank you for this wonderful recipe, i made the crust following these directions but made tiny quiche tarts instead. It turned out a little over 24 mini ham,bacon,spinach, and swiss cheese quiche. I've made them a few times, friends and family are dying for the recipe. Very tasty- great results. ** if you are a health nut this is not the quiche crust for you. It was a little greasy but no one complained. My 88 yr. old grandmother ate about 3 or 4 of these mini quiche- and she's a picky eater... lol and then there is my 37 yr old cousin who hate vegetables but tried them despite the spinach content. :-) Have fun with this recipe everyone its certainly a keeper!

Iced Coffee Slush

Awesome idea... i didn't exactly use the recipe tho...i'm sure it's awesome tho lol. I just made a cup of coffee to my taste.... but perhaps twice as strong....froze it...smashed it with a fork added some milk stirred it and it was awesome :-) .....also if you want to be lazy.... you can buy ice coffee syrup like chocolate mild syrup.... freeze some milk smash it with a fork add the syrup a little more milk and stir. Awesome, thanx so much for the idea :-) Enjoy Everyone!

Twice Baked Potatoes I

I followed the recipe for the most part... though I did make a few additions... I added come crumbled bacon to the potato mixture as well as some cheese, instead of just leaving it as a topping. The bacon added a little crunch while the cheese made it that just more creamy. Excellent recipe!!! Will most certainly make again!
