These are so easy to make and requested often. Made several batches for the holidays and gave as gifts as well as served. Can be addicting! Thanks for the recipe!

Bacon Water Chestnut Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2008
Made these for a small gathering and they were a giant hit!! The sauce is amazing!!! Water chestnuts gave it an added crunch - very tasty. I was able to cut the bacon into 3rds and that seemed to work fine. We had 12 adults over and this seemed to be enough - but next time, I would probably double the recipe - I like to have plenty for everyone. Also, I cooked them ahead of time, then poured the sauce on them and put them in the frig. About a 1/2 hour prior to guests arriving, I popped them in the oven and they were ready to go. Great recipe!! Thank you!!

Cookie Mix in a Jar VIII

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2008
This is a great cookie recipe. I'm going to make this for our annual cookie swap! I wanted to sample these prior to jarring it and giving it as a gift. So as I was making them you need to read the whole recipe. It does call for egg, butter and vanilla. These are not listed in the ingredient list - it listed in the directions. It is a rather thick batter and I may add a few more peanut butter cups in the next time (because I LOVE peanut butter!), but they were tasty as the recipe is.

Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2008
This pie is the BEST!! So easy too! Just a few notes: 3/4 cup Key Lime juice is = to about 20 Key limes. I used a garlic press to squeeze the limes quickly and easily (cut limes in half). 3 Cups of sweetened condensed milk = about 2 cans. Perfect recipe! Impress your friends and enjoy!
