Ratatouille

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2010
I made this and was very skeptical, boy was I wrong! The veggies are soooo good! The only thing I did differently was I added more garlic (5 cloves) and I layered everything from the eggplant(cut into thin slices) which I still sauteed in the pan until the became soft. I wanted it to look like the Ratatouille from the Disney movie , layered so the kids would try it!! It came out great and I can't wait to make it again! Thanks for a keeper!

Beer Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
I made these last night to finish off our Chuckwagon Stew and they turned out great. I made them about an inch thick so I only got 8 biscuits out of the mix. They puffed up nice and high. I only kneaded it a little bit, enough to lay it out and cut them out. I used Coors lite because that is all we had in the house, but you can still taste the beer in the biscuits. Yummm,Thanks for the recipe.

Chuckwagon Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2010
This stew is moist and hearty. When it's cold outside a bowl of the stew and cheddar biscuits will warm you right up. I threw it together in the morning in 10 min.'s and it was ready for dinner by the time everyone came home from school and work.

Pumpkin Pecan "Brownies"

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2010
Pam's "brownies" are the ultimate pumpkin addiction. If you crave pumpkin and are bored with the same old pumpkin pie, give these a try. They are moist goodness you can't put down. We couldn't even wait for them to cool before putting on the icing! Thanks Pam!

Bread Machine Bagels

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2010
These turned out great, easy peasy!! I followed the recipe as written minus the cornmeal because I didn't have it on hand. I greased the baking sheet with pam spray. I can't wait to make them again.

These were so good. I used reduced fat cream cheese and fresh chives and left out the mushrooms for the kids and hubby. They were so easy to prepare and took no time at all. Thanks for the recipe!

This soup is great. The only thing I changed in the recipe is whole milk to Fat Free milk and regular sour cream to lite sour cream and chicken broth to Fat free reduced sodium! The soup is still rich in flavor . a great and lit alternative to the regular cream of mushroom soup!! Thanks for the recipe!

This recipe was awesome, the only thing I did differently was use the pre-cooked bacon from oscar mayer. The bacon came out beautifully crisp. I would of taken a picture but hands would of been in the picture! The football fans loved them!! Thanx Mrs.H !!!

Naan

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2010
These are better than what you get out to eat! They are so easy to make. The only thing I did different was use olive oil instead of butter and I used a large frying pan instead of grilling. They came out bubbly and good!!! Thanks for the recipe, it's a keeper!

Sangria by the Pros

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2010
I made this yesterday leaving out the cherries and pineapple. I didn't have them on hand. I followed the directions as stated but the only thing I did different was I added the soda to the glass I was serving instead of the pitcher due to the fact that I'm the only one drinking it. Hubby doesn't like wine. I didn't want the soda to go flat being it would sit in the fridge a couple days. Other than that , delish!!!!

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2010
I make this bread for my son but we call it gorilla bread because we add cream cheese to it. You get a block of cream cheese and dice it up and you take your biscuit dough quarters and wrap them around the cream cheese and bake as usual. It is his special breakfast treat on holiday mornings!!!
