Pecan Pie Bars I

I used parchment paper but forgot to spray it with PAM and it stuck like crazy!! People loved them though and I keep getting asked for the recipe.

Easy Pleasy Mac N Cheesy - US Navy Style

I made 2 pans and ran out of foil, so I only covered 1. The 2nd pan still came out okay, but the covered one was much better! All my employees complimented the dish at our potluck.

Blackened Chicken

This was the juiciest chicken I have ever made, but I wasn't a huge fan of the spice combo. I think next time I'll adjust more to my tastes (for example, I don't like thyme).

I added in garlic salt and otherwise followed the recipe exactly. I enjoyed the recipe, but the Tomato Pie is better. I won't make this again.

Italian Style Chili

I love this! I added 3 cloves of garlic and used diced pepperoni. It's definitely different from a typical chili which I love - it means I can make both without chili overload.

Linguine with Chicken and Sauteed Vegetables

This recipe surprised me by how much I liked it! I left out the cilantro and lime. To make it easier I used a bag of frozen brocolli/cauliflower mix, and a bag of pre-shredded coleslaw mix. I really like it!

Easy Pumpkin Cream Trifle

I made this for Thanksgiving. The only adaptation I did was the add a little swirl of caramel on top, and to make the pudding and whipped cream layers seperate. Everyone loved it - I had to leave the leftovers there for my brother!

Crawfish Dressing

I made this for Thanksgiving this year because I'm not a fan of bread dressings. I followed the recipe exactly and my entire family loved it! They wouldn't let me take the leftovers home with me - Thank you for the great recipe!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

I made this one night when I thought I was getting sick. My boyfriend LOVED it! Last week he brought up again how much he enjoyed it. I squirted limes into each bowl and added chopped cilantro as well. I also used 1 can cream of chicken, 1 can broth like others suggested. I added cumin and chili pepper to taste.
