Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
Great! I followed the recipe exactly and it came out perfectly! It took about 10 minutes longer to cook than called for...but it could have just been my oven.

very tasty and a big hit at my party! the toothpicks are a MUST. I do agree they are a little messy to make and definitely time consuming if you triple the recipe.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2011
I cut the chicken into pieces first and throw in some fresh sliced mushrooms. Since it is just me and my husband, I cut the recipe in half but still add the whole can of soup because I hate to waste! Turns out amazing!

I too just used minced fresh ginger and fresh garlic. I also used greek yogurt because it was all I had--and it still turned out excellent!

Spicy African Yam Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
Great soup! I can't wait to use this when I start my diet---it's like a fancy vegetable soup with so much more depth! I followed the recipe exactly except I used cannellini beans instead of garbanzo beans and hot picante' sauce ( instead of salsa) because that was all I had. Still delicious!

Bourbon Pecan Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
I used this recipe for a dinner party and it was amazing! I was worried the chicken would turn out tough just cooking it in the pan so I browned all the sides and then cooked it in the oven on 350 until in was done. It was so tender and juicy! PS seasoned bread crumbs work just as great.

Magic Lemon Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2012
This was soooo good. I had to double the lemon juice though. For some reason mine turned out so liquidy. I am not sure if it was the extra lemon juice or not. we still ate the whole thing anyway!

Blueberry Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2013
I followed the recipe but added a teaspoon of baking powder and a little bit of sour cream. I put it all into a mini muffin pan and baked for 20 minutes. I also sprinkled the top with a little bit of sugar before baking. YUMMY!
