Rhubarb Strawberry Cake

This was excellent. Used frozen rhubarb from last year. I did increase the cornstarch to 3T. Also this is more of a crisp than cake!

Classic Waffles

Glad to find this recipe as it is close to my mother's recipe that I lost. I separated the eggs and folded in the whites last. This is the way my mom's recipe was and it makes the waffles lighter.

Took a loaf of this bread when visiting family in Las Vegas last month! It was a huge hit - and was served topped with Cool Whip. Made it when bringing dessert to our Bible Study and it was very popular! Thanks for a new favorite!

Ten Minute Szechuan Chicken

Very special and tasty! Served over rice, of course. The amount of sugar is missing - I only used 1/2 tsp. but could have used more. Thanks for this recipe.

Sweet Pork Chops

These were very different and delicious. My husband thought they were excellent and I will definitely fix these again! I served them on top of noodles and had corn on the cob,plus Jan's fresh blueberry pie.

Blueberry Drop Cookies

Blueberries are my husbands very favorite and these cookies were very good! I freeze blueberries when they are in season and used frozen berries in this recipe. No problem.

Chicken Flautas

Flautas are a favorite of mine and these were excellent! Next time I'll be sure and have some guacamole to serve with them. With refried beans and salsa, plus a green salad, we had a great dinner.

Kelly's Butterscotch Pudding

Oatmeal Icebox Cookies

These did not call for enough liquid. Tried to cut them and they just crumbled. Was going to toss the dough, but worked in some orange juice and re-refrigerated them, sliced and baked and they were not too bad.

Cornbread Sausage Casserole

I did not put 4 jalapeno peppers in, but used canned green chilies. I bought the peppers, but after a "taste test" did not dare use them! Also I used 1 box of corn bread mix, which was plenty. Recipe was pretty good, but I don't know if I'll do it again.

Cinnamon Pudding Cake

This took 10 minutes longer for center to test done; however, seemed to be overdone when I dished it up. Thought the water mixture would sink to bottom and form sauce, but it didn't. Was pretty good, but don't think I would make it again.

Better Homes and Gardens Baked Potato Soup

What is better on a cold, winter day in Wyoming than soup and homemade bread for dinner, and this recipe was outstanding! Did make a few changes: Baked potatoes in microwave, used white onions and cooked bacon along with onion first. Cut up the potatoes and mashed slightly with potato masher before adding. Also used colby cheese. This was a real hit with my husband.

World's Best Pumpkin Pie

This was very good; however, I don't think it deserves the name "the world's best". Will probably make it again and like the fact it calls for regular milk. Still like the old "Libby's pumpkin pie" recipe best!

Granny's Banana Bread

Very tasty - my husband went back for more! Lived dangerously in putting this in my largest nut bread pan - it almost went over. Next time I'll make 2 loaves in a regular sized pan.
