Moroccan Meat Cigars

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2009
I make these at least once a week coz my husband keeps asking for them all the time. I do the folowing changes: 1- before adding the ground beef to the skillet I add 1/4 cup chopped onion and stir them in the EVO until golden brown then I add the ground beef. 2- I use fresh chopped roma tomato instead of crushed tomatoes . 3- I add back pepper + clove of garlic and dried parsley just right before turning the heat off. 4- I brush them with real melted butter

The Perfect Basic Burger

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2009
according to the title it`s just basic buger, which means that U can add what ever u like . if U r sure that the quality and the flavor of ur ground beef is high so U don`t have to add any thing. for me I add 1 small chopped onion , garlic powder and season salt but I add just 1/4 cup of bread crumbs .

Baba Ghanoush

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2009
here is my favorite dip. If I have small eggplant I`ll bake hem according the recipe , but for large size eggplant , I wrap it with foil coz if I did`t wrap them the result well be burned from the outside and raw inside, then 10 min before turn the oven off I remove the foil. the baking time depends on the size of the eggplant. some times if I don`t want to turn the oven on ,I put the whole egg plant in my farber ware steam pot it really saves my time and the flavor is almost the same (baked egg plat is just alittle better) . I like to sprinkle it with dried mint.

Egyptian Feta Cheese Omelet Roll

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
I made it for my lunch today and it was pretty good. I made the following modifications: I doubled the amount of feta cheese(coz I`m a huge fan of it), added a pinch of cumin + dried parsely to the egg mixture and a few drops of hot sauce to the omelet.

Whole Wheat, Oatmeal, and Banana Pancakes

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2009
I made these panckes for my breakfast this morning. they were pretty good. I followed the other reviews and I added 2 bananas and just 2 TBS of brown sugar (I think I`ll use honey the next time). I did`t have milk powder so I did`t add any , I think the milk powder will make them more fluffy specially after using two bananas (two bananas tend to make them more heavy). I did`t grind the oats , and I added a pinch of cinnamon, vanilla and chocolate chips. thank U for the recipe.

Fried Cauliflower with Tahini Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2009
my husband likes the fried cauliflower according to this recipe, but I don`t like mine this way (very greasy)so wat I do is boiling some water and add salt and cumin and cook the cauliflower pieces in it for less than 10 minutes or until it`s tender . then coat the cauliflower with eggs , water and flour mixture(it should be thick enough to coat the cauliflower )

Hummus III

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2009
I agree with the other reviews that this is a basic recipe.and the taste will be different for every one as it depends on the quality of ur tahini. sometimes I add water if it came out thick. I like to add cumin and it is perfect with roasted red pepper, and I`m going to try it with roasted garlic .

BAKER'S Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2009
WOOOOOOOOOOW they were scrumptious , I think it`s my vaforite recipe from allrecipes. I used quick oats , 1 cup of semi sweet chocolate and 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips.some times I found out that coconut is a great addition it goes really well with the PB(I used creamy PB) and the chocolate . I bake them in dark non stick sheet set the oven on 325 it takes only 7-8 mins to get done (I like mine very chewy ) if I waited longer I'll get a burned bottom , so be very careful when you bake them it's better to stay in the kitchen while baking them
