About this Cook
I enjoy baking and cooking.. Baking is a passion of mine.. Sharing the yumminess of homemade baked goods is priceless. Maybe, one day I will open a homemade sweets shop or something. I love all of our pets.. We have six, 3 dogs and 3 cats! It's like a mini petting zoo!! Most of all, I love my Husband! We now have a handsome son!
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake any kind of desserts! I have a huge sweet tooth! So, I love to try new recipes and taste them, too!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't really think we have any... When my husband and I decide to have kids, I will make some cooking tradions of our own.. I can't wait! Our son, is usually in his highchair eating a snack when I am cooking or baking. I can't wait to have him help me cook and bake! It will be messy but fun!!
My cooking triumphs
Making a christmas dinner in 2007, for my family and friends. That was fun and scary.. It turned out to be a great dinner and everyone enjoyed it!
My cooking tragedies
When I was 13 years old, I tried to make lemon squares and messed up on one of the ingredients and they came out greenish instead of yellow... LOL! Not sure, but I think I mixed up the baking soda or baking powder. Anyway, my Aunt couldn't stop laughing at what I made.. It was a disaster.. But, a funny memory!

Chocolate Banana Bread
Very yummy and easy to make! I used 2 cups white wheat flour and 1 cup AP flour. I didn't have sour cream, so I used 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt (1 - 4oz container Activia) and 1/2 cup half & half. Tasted great and nice to change up the regular banana bread! I made 6 mini loaves and two 8 x 4 1/2 in pans.

Cole Slaw
I loved it! I just used a bag of shredded cabbage and carrots, and did not use onions or green peppers(prefer cole slaw without them). Oops, I used regular vinegar and it tasted fine! My husband really liked it too (He is very picky)! I only made 1/2 C vinegar, 1/2 C veg. oil and 1/2 C sugar for a 16 oz bag.
