Frank's Favorite Slow-Cooker Thai Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
We have doubled this recipe twice. The first time, we didn't have ginger, so we used curry. YUM! This time, I used part curry, part ginger, YUM! You could even do some other fun stuff here. But, as is, this recipe is a WINNER! My husband, who is kina picky, asks me to make it all the time! One thing we never have is lime, so the line juice has never been added. It doesn't matter. Serve it by itself or put it over rice or noodles. Kids will love this, too. I think if kids are involved, you might want to hold back on the spices a bit. This is one of our favs!

MOST EXCELLENT! Didn't have sugar and didn't marinade, but the batter itself is perfect! Thanks!

Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
Very good stuff...and easy! I used chicken broth instead of water. Two onions instead of one. Added garlic and only used a touch of salt and pepper. Husband loved it!

Skillet Lamb Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2008
I made this in an iron skillet, I think that always makes things taste better! After browning then cooking for 15 min, the lamb chops were tender. I added milk, butter, a little soy sauce, a little red wine vingrette, and then some corn starch to make a nice gravy. This makes the dish like something gourmet you'd find in a restaurant and it was very easy! My husband was all over this. He wanted more! We will make this often! Thanks for the recipe!

Lazy Golumbkis

Way yummy! I added some brown sugar and used brown rice, and used turkey burger to cut down on fat. And, I didn't have time to do the slow cooker route, I just put it in a big pan on the stove and simmered for an hour and a half. Great recipe...thanks!

Pineapple Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: May 20, 2008
Wonderful!!! I used on larger chicken and grilled the chicken on my George Foreman grill, then thickened up the leftover sauce with a bit of cornstarch and served it over the chicken. Saved leftover sauce for another chicken night! Could even mix in w/hamburger and make a teriaki burger w/pineapple on top.

Spicy Black Bean Cakes

Reviewed: May 20, 2008
This is an awesome!!! Instead of using the oven, I sprayed a skillet with Pam and cooked on both sides for about 4 min. each at med high heat. I don't even like sweet potatoes, but man, this recipe is yummmmy! My friend, who doesn't like sweet potatoes either, loved this recipe as well! I made extra and put in a bowl in the fridge and cooked 2 days later for another dinner!
