Zucchini Cake III

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2009
Best zucchini cake! Took it to a church picnic and people were asking to take some home with them. I did follow the cream cheese frosting suggestion.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: May 18, 2009
So, so good! I followed the recommendation about the bouillon cube, salt, pepper, garlic and dry onion soup mix. Also, 5 hours on low (even with frozen meat) was long enough. Served over egg noodles.

Easy Cheesy Chicken I

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
Big hit with the whole fam - and that is saying something! I started with frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 6 hrs on low was perfect. I also substituted the cream of mushroom for cream of celery and added a package of Dry Italian Salad Dressing. Served on a bed of rice with a Caesar salad on the side.

Turkey Breast with Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
I made a few changes and my husband said this is the moistest turkey he has ever eaten. I use a disposible turkey bag and no need to baste. I put the water and bouillon in the bag with the turkey, onion and celery and added 1/2 c white wine. Only bake until thermometer is 165 (about 2 hours.) Temp will rise to 185 on the counter.

Strawberry Pie II

I couldn't keep my kids from licking their plates...I wanted to lick my plate! I never need another recipe - Thank you. I second the suggestions to use fresh berries from the farm and adding a little butter for thickness.

Ham and Cheese Biscuits

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
Very easy and yummy. I did half ham and half turkey with swiss and used King's Hawaiian Honey Wheat rolls. Left overs heat well in the microwave - just enough to warm.
