Baked Dijon Salmon

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2007
DELICIOUS! I made this last night for a relative that was coming to dinner and she was very impressed. She even called me this morning to compliment me again on last nights dinner. Next time though, I'll try it with Italian seasoned bread crumbs instead of plain.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2007
This recipe was delicious! The first time I made it I cut the servings in half and did it exactly as the recipe says. The last time I did it, I also cut the recipe in half, but used the whole package of soup mix. I mixed the condensed soup and the powdered soup in a seperate bowl and then added it to the meat. I also seasoned the meat with complete seasoning, montreal steak seasoning, salt and minced garlic (I like my food well seasoned) before adding it to the slow cooker. Yummo!

Praline Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2006
I gotta say that I wasn't very impressed with this recipe. I might try it again but use less heavy cream than the recipe calls for this time.

Chicken and Broccoli Braid

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2006
Amazing! I wish I could give it more stars! I didn't add the dill only because I don't like the taste and smell of dill. Also, I used a Cheddar cheese/ monterrey jack blend from Sargento which was delicious. I love mushrooms so next time I'll add a few of those!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2005
These were amazing! I made them for "fight-night" last week and everyone loved them. I was only able to eat one because by the time I got to them, they were all gone :( I made some minor additions: I used a food processor to grind the mushroom stems, that way they were really fine. Sauteed them in butter and added onion powder while sauteing them. Also used the minced garlic from the jar. I used a little more cayenne pepper and onion powder than the recipe calls for because, otherwise it was a bit bland for my taste. I used freshly grated parmesano-regiano cheese and added some on top of the mushrooms which gave it a crunchy topping and made it look prettier. I also added Italian seasoned bread crumbs. Next time I might try adding bacon. This is definitely a keeper at my house.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2005
EXCELLENT! Wow, these muffins are absolutely delicious. I've made them twice and both times I'm amazed at how awesome they taste. I added a teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon into the batter just to give it a little something extra, otherwise the actual batter is too boring. These are wonderful though.

I made these for a holiday cookie swap party that I had yesterday and I can't say I was very impressed by them. I don't think I'll be making these again. :(

It was okay, nothing out of this world. I think I'll stick to regular butter sauteing.

AWESOME! This recipe was great. I added some sweet whole kernels just to make it look nicer when you cut it. Everyone loved it!

Brown Family's Favorite Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2004
If I could give it more stars, I would! I made this for Thanksgiving and 3 of my guests have called me since to see if I still had any pumpkin pie left over. Unfortunately, I don't! But I already promised my husband I would be making another one first thing tomorrow. Everyone loves it and made me look like quite the chef :)

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2004
I've made this recipe for the past 3 thanksgivings. Everyone has ALWAYS loved them and requested the recipe, but I've never liked them...at all. My family requested this dish again this year but I decided to take another reviewers advise and make them with fresh steamed green beans. OMG THAT IS THE KEY!!! They were incredible! I actually had 3 servings and brought some more home with me. So my changes were: fresh steamed green beans, extra onions, extra garlic, extra cheese, complete seasoning and I used the French onions, not the buttery crackers. Great recipe!

Cranberry Orange Loaf

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2004
This recipe was very easy to make but I wasn't impressed by it. The cranberries made it too tart and practically unbearable. If you're not a big fan of tart things, I suggest you reduce the amount of cranberries. I won't be making this recipe again :(

Down Home Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2004
Yum, yum, yum, yum!!!!!! OMG this recipe is absolutely amazing! It was so cheesy and creamy and just perfect. I made these last night and my husband could not stop raving about how delicious they were. He was very impressed. I invited my friend over for lunch today and we ate the left overs. She LOVED it. They were great the next day. I'll definitely be making this again!

I didn't like these at all. Too bland. They had a very strong flour taste. I won't be making these again.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2004
First, I'd like to say that I have never been a fan of chocolate chip cookies. My husband is the one that loves chocolate chip cookies and I've never been able to find a recipe that he actually approves of. Well, I FOUND IT!!! This recipe is absolutely amazing. I made one batch and it disappeared within 2 hours. 18 cookies, GONE! I've already been asked to make some more for tonight and for a get together we are having tomorrow night. If you are looking for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe, look no further because this is it! I also cooled the dough before baking it and they came out big, chewy and just PERFECT!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2004
This recipes is excellent! I've made it a few times already and every time I make it I get great compliments for it. Last night I made it again and added a packet of lipton onion soup and it was delicious. I don't use the saltine crackers though, I use regular bread crumbs which to me tastes a lot better.

OMG! These are the BEST brownies I've ever tasted. I made 3 batches last night because my husband was "brownie happy". Very easy to make and the batter is absolutely DELICIOUS even alone. This is a recipe that I I enjoyed and I will definitely be making a lot. Thanks Angie!!!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2002
I made half this recipe and sent a batch of these cookies to my fiance (he is in the Marines), he shared them with his friends, EVERYONE loved it!!! His friends congratulated him on having such a "great baker" for a girlfriend. So as you can tell, they were a huge success! In fact, I'm going to be sending him another batch very soon. But this time I'll make the whole recipe. Thanks Debbi for sharing this wonderful recipe.

Chocolate Lovers' Favorite Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2001
I made this cake for my choc-o-holic boyfriend, and all he could say was "wow" with each bite. This is the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted. It was so moist and absolutely perfect. One thing to remember when making this cake is to make sure that all ingredients are at room temperature. Specially the sour cream, if it is too cold, it will make the batter hard and "pudding like".
