About this Cook
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2005. At first it was my mission to replicate my favorite restuarunt foods/fast foods in gluten free cooking. I am married and have 3 children. Now I need to add diabetic cooking to my skills to help with my husbands health.
My favorite things to cook
Asian foods. I can't eat out at most asian places since they use regular soy sauce which is not gluten free.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Chicken parm and marinara meat sauce. I have guests who request these dishes when they come over.
My cooking triumphs
Cooking gluten free bread, pizzas,
My cooking tragedies
Mashed potatoes. I can't make them from scratch. I don't know why but every time I try I get glue. Now I just buy the frozen bag of mashed potatos from Orida. They work out great for me.

Best Marinara Sauce Yet
Not that this recipe needs another 5 star rating but this was super easy and tasted great! I totally recommend this! I would suggest using a blender or immersion blender to puree this completely. Thanks for a great recipe.

Beef Nacho Casserole
This was just ok. I thought it was a little bit bland, needed more flavor. I also didn't like the corn in it but I think that was because I used sweet white corn which was just the wrong flavor for this dish but that's all I had on hand. I'm not sure I'll try this one again.

Brown Sugar Smokies
Not that this recipe needs more great reviews but I have to say this is really a GREAT recipe. I made them for the first time for a memorial with more than 100 people and they were gone before I could blink an eye. Even the children at the memorial LOVED these. I will serve these at all my gatherings in the future! Thanks again.
