Grandma's Hash Browns
Yum, yum, yum! Like others, I did not have time to let it sit overnight, so after letting them sit for a couple hours, I shredded them and put them in a shallow pan in the freezer and then cooked them. I only put 4 potatoes in the pan and used a little more butter.

Creamy Frosting
PERFECT both times I cooked it! As other reviewers indicate, butter must be room temperature and you must allow milk concoction to cool completely. This is the only frosting I have ever made and it was easy and so good. I put it on cupcakes. I colored it pink with the gelee food coloring by Wilton (just mix it in at the end) and it was so beautiful piped onto cupcakes with sprinkles on top!
