This was a very good recipe. I had just the perfect amount of extra ricotta in the fridge. I used 1 tbsp of vanilla and also added 1 tsp of pure almond extract to the batter. To the frosting I added some almond extract as well. Overall a great, old fashioned, Italian recipe. Thank you for sharing it!

Truck-Stop Buttermilk Pancakes

Hands down, the best pancake recipe ever! Fluffy, light and flavorful. Beats the pants off the national pancake chain!! I scaled it to 6 servings and I still have leftovers for quick weekday breakfast for my toddler. A great, versatile pancake recipe! Must try!!!

Apple Crisp II

This recipe was really good! I used a touch a lemon juice to prevent browning of the apples. I added about 1/4 cup of the water after reading the reviews of some who had problems. My filling was the perfect consistency after baking. I doubled the cinnamon in the filling and added nutmeg as well. I used a double recipe for the topping (we like alot of 'crisp') and added cinnamon to topping mixture as we are big cinnamon lovers. The recipe was a huge hit at my party. Thank you for sharing it!

Cream of Mushroom Soup I

This is a great recipe but could use a little tweaking. I sauteed the onions and mushrooms first until golden. I added extra broth, half and half and 1/2 cup sherry as I like the flavor. Overall, very delicious, but as written is a little bland to me. Thanks for sharing!

Crisp Oatmeal Cookies

This was a great recipe, but I altered slightly. I used butter instead of margarine and added extra vanilla and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. With these changes, the cookies are delicious! Thanks for sharing this recipe!!

Buttery Soft Pretzels

This is an awesome recipe!!! I made the recipe, exactly as written, in my Kitchen Aid mixer. I did change the baking temperature and time to 400 degrees and baked the pretzels for 10 minutes. They came out golden brown and delicious. I basted them with melted butter and then sprinkled on the salt. I would reduce the sugar to 1/4 cup next time as I think they were a bit too sweet. The hubby went crazy for them! Thanks for sharing a really awesome recipe!!!

Gourmet Cream of Broccoli Soup

This is a great recipe and very adaptable too. I used 2 packages of frozen chopped broccoli, 2 cups of chicken broth and 1 cup of fat free half and half. I adjusted the seasoning for my personal preference (added a little more salt, black pepper and fresh minced garlic). Turned out beautifully and I would definately make this again. Thanks for sharing!

Pizza Casserole

This was a great recipe! I used penne in place of the egg noodles (personal preference) and added in sauteed mushrooms as well. I also used turkey pepperoni - what a great substitute with much less fat. Overall a delicious casserole, thanks for sharing the recipe!

Pecan Pie V

Great tasting recipe! I added a pinch of salt and increased the vanilla to 1 tablespoon - just my personal preference. It baked at 400 degrees for 10 minutes and then 300 degrees for about a hour. I tented it with foil after the first 15 minutes. Turned out golden brown, set up nicely and was delicious. Thanks!

Seasoned Turkey Burgers

Very good recipe, although a tad salty. I would recommend either using only half the package of onion soup mix or omitting the soy sauce completely. Very moist and overall good. Thanks for sharing!

This recipe rocks!! My hubby will buy me anything if I make these for him :)haha Seriously, the recipe works perfectly, but I do suggest baking in a 350 degree oven instead of 400 degrees. An excellent must try!

Excellent recipe. I used a frozen deep dish pie crust and added two extra egg yolks I had left over from another recipe. Also used half and half instead of all milk. Turned out great baked at 350 degrees and reheated well too.

Pignoli Cookies I

This is a wonderful recipe! I'm an Italian girl living in Long Island, NY and all the bakeries here (if you can find them) charge upwards of $16 per pound. This recipe is authentic and works. I used Solo canned almond paste and followed the recipe as written. Definately remember to flour your hands. Thank you for a wonderful recipe!!!
