Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2011
These cookies turned out amazing! The dough made 30 wonderful, moist, picture-perfect cookies. I followed the recipe exactly and made sure I had fresh cream of tartar and baking soda (suggested by another reviewer). I'm very excited that I found this recipe and I think I'll end up using with without the topping for a staple sugar cookie recipe.

Cherry Cobbler I

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2011
This tasted so wonderful and I don't even like cherry cobbler. I made if for my dad for Father's day because it's his favorite. I took the advice on the liquid topping and used only 1/2 c sugar and 3/4 c water. I kept the tablespoon of cornstarch the same and when I was pouring it on top of my crust I only used 3/4 of it because it seemed like too much. I wish I had remembered to get a picture of it because it looked amazing. It tasted great too. I might use the full 1 c of water next time though because it was pretty formed (no where near runny). And in case anyone was wondering, I used frozen black cherries (Publix brand) for my filling as I couldn't find any fresh in my area. Hope this helps!

Honey Bun Cake I

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2008
This cake is amazing. I made it and it is now my husband's, mom's, and brother's favorite recipe, not to mention my friends I've made it for. It's so easy too. I make it all the time.

Peach Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2008
This is a great recipe! I loved how easy it was to make. It didn't last long either! Next time I'll take the advice on letting it set in the oven after it bakes.

Chocolate Mice

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2008
This recipe was great! Everyone commented on them. I did change a few things though. I doubled the recipe when I made them and I used one bag of milk chocolate chips and 2/3 cup of sour cream. This made them more like a truffel and they tasted great. Also, I took the advice on the caramel tails. They worked great. Another suggestion, especially if you make the caramel tails, is to not refrigerate them. This made the tails stick to the foil I had them on and they all ended up pulling off.
