Glazed Meatloaf I

I really don't like meatloaf. However I decided to make one for my husband. He absolutely loved it and it was the first meatloaf I have ever actually enjoyed. This is my meatloaf recipe from now on.

Baked Pancake Squares

This was extremely simple and good. It tastes like pancakes with a cornbread consistency. I served it with the buttermilk syrup recipe also found on this site.

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

This is absolutely delicious. I love cilantro and this sauce is excellent. I have used it as a sauce for chicken and as a dip. I always get asked for the recipe whenever I bring this.

I really enjoyed this dish. It was simple to make and tasted delicious. I didn't have hominy so I used corn and I thought it worked great. I did, however, want just a little more flavor or spice so I added some chili sauce. Thanks for sharing a great recipe.

Grandma Minnie's Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

I have tried so many recipes for sugar cookies and am rarely pleased with any of them. However, these were so easy and quick to make and tasted delicious. In addition to the cream I added two tablespoons of sourcream. The cookies turned out slightly crispy on the outside and soft and flaky on the inside. 6 min. was the perfect time for my cookies rolled out to 1/4". I frosted them with my Mother-in-law's recipe:1/2 C. butter,3Cpowdered sugar, 1tsp.almond extract, pinch of salt and add cream to desired consistency.I got so many compliments that I think my search for a sugar cookie recipe is over. Thank you!

I thought that this turned out very nice. It had a nice taste and texture but was a little sweet for me. I added groung pistachios and it tasted very close to my favorite dessert at an Indian restaurant. Thanks for sharing

Tantalizingly Tangy Meatloaf

This is a very good meatloaf recipe. I am not a fan of meatloaf but after my husband begged me to make some I looked up this recipe. My husband and kids enjoyed it and I did too. Thanks for a great recipe

Orange Cake

This is an excellent recipe. I made 8 of these as gifts for Christmas. This was so easy and so tasty. I did make a few changes. I used vanilla pudding. For the extracts I added 1 tsp. of Almond, 1 tsp. of butter flavor, 1 tsp of vanilla. I added the extracts to the cake and to the topping and it really added to depth of flavor. I also think poppy seeds would taste good in this. This is a great recipe to have.

Indian Tandoori Chicken

This is a very good and easy recipe. I really enjoy the flavor. I just want a little more depth to it. It needs a little bit more of a spice but I haven't quite figured out which one yet. However, this is quite a tasty recipe so glad you shared it with us.

Sugar Coated Pecans

I have made these over and over. I love this recipe it is so easy to make. I have made it with sugar and splenda with almonds and pecans and I love it every way I have tried it. I prefer substituting the vanilla for the water and sometimes add a little butter flavor too. I also increase the cinnamon as others have suggested.

Dad's Pumpkin Chiffon Pie

I am not a fan of Pumpkin chiffon but I liked this recipe and my husband went nuts for it. My kids really liked it as well. I just wanted a little more pumpkin flavor but the texture and the crust were absolutely wonderful.

Caramels

This was an excellent recipe. I agree with a previous poster this does taste like Leatherby's caramels. I have tried many recipes and this one is definitely a keeper. The only thing I changed was the temperature. I cooked to 235. That was the perfect temp for us. They held their shape but were still soft and chewy. I got many requests for these. Thanks for the recipe

Chocolate Mousse Cake II

OH MY GOODNESS! This was DELICIOUS!!! I used this recipe for a formal dinner party and my guests were absolutely raving. I was even asked if I catered professionally. It did take a lot of time and chocolate but was definitely worth it. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.
