Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
This is just not what I was looking for. Made a batch and they are coming out of the oven now. They aren't coming out flat at all - they are coming out looking like I put them in, only a little browner. I thought they would look a lot more like the picture. I have to say that I did not add the chocolate chips, walnuts or white chips, I added MnM's instead. If you are looking for a cake-like consistency, then this is it. I was looking for a very basic and traditional chocolate chip cookie recipe....doesn't taste at all like Mrs. Fields!!!!

Texas-Style Baked Beans

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2009
I've been making these beans since I found the recipes a couple years ago. The ONLY thing I change is adding bacon. I fry it until just done then rip in pieces and toss in crockpot. I've found that sometimes it's watery and sometimes not, so draining atleast 1 can of the beans would be a good idea. Always asked to make these for picnics...extremely easy!

Skillet Beef and Macaroni

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2009
My family also calls this Goulash. This isn't the same recipe, but I couldn't find the one my mom and grandma used, and they go by memory. This sounded close so I decided to try it. I wasn't sure about adding the Worcestershire sauce, it adds a different tang to the dish. I did have to add 1/2 cup more of water for the noodles to cook without the rest of the dish burning. I think next time I will add diced tomatoes, undrained, because by adding the extra water it made the pasta slightly bland for my taste and dry.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: May 1, 2008
I just got done eating this pizza, but I didn't follow the exact recipe. I cubed the chicken before I cooked it (it's easier to cut when it's still a little frozen)--I added about a Tbsp of olive oil to the skillet then seasoned the chicken with garlic powder and chili powder. I used the same amount of butter and hot sauce as in the recipe, but I used unsalted butter and it tasted just fine. I also did not use as much dressing (I actually used ranch because I don't like blue cheese) and it was great--in fact it was almost too much. I put a layer of cheddar cheese on the pre-cooked crust as others suggested then I spread the dressing with a spoon. I added the chicken mixture then layered some more cheddar then some mozzarella on top. As an avid learner of cooking and baking and a bride to be, I feel I did a pretty good job (and if my fiance liked dressing, I think he would have felt the same way!)
