Easy Toffee Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
Super yummy!!I did follow a few changes suggested by others. 1) used 1/2 tsp of vanilla after boiling sugar and butter. 2) used milk chocolate instead of semi choc. Perfer the taste over all. Also, did not put back into the over for a second time, just let the heat melt the chocolate and spread. Added almonds afterwards. Wonderful!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
Yummy! Very good! I made a full loaf, 2 mini loaves, and 6 full size muffins from this batch. The only change is the time for each different one. The full loaf took appr. 65 minutes, the mini loaves appr 50 minutes and the muffins appr. 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
Love this! Served for Christmas dinner and got rave reviews. The only thing I did different from what was stated in original recipe was to follow others advice in saute onions with the butter. I would recomend doing the same.

Just like me people could not stop eating them! Will be making these on a regular basis!

Linda's Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2012
Loved this! Like any lasagna it is slightly time consuming, but worth it. The only changes I made was used my food processor for the cottage cheese, cheese, and egg combo. I also put the mozzarella on before the beginning of cooking. I let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before cutting.

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
Addition 12/22/10: I did add an additional 1/4 to 1/2 cups more of the crushed pretzels for the crust. It helped to cover the 9x13 pan. One of my all time favorites! Great for potlucks...people always love it.

Very good pork chops! So very tender! Used very large pork chops from Costco which required the full time in the crock pot.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2008
This was great! As someone who is not a big fan of BBQ I specifically made this to feed to my family and not myself. After tasting it I became a fan! My husband said it is better than well known restaurants in our city.

Nacho Cheese Sauce

Reviewed: May 17, 2011
Perfect basic cheese sauce. My children do not like Rotel/Velveeta mix, so I searched for something that could be made "simple" then add additional spices for the adults. This is the perfect solution.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
Oh my goodness....this was a huge hit. I followed a few changes. I do not like canned chicken, so I used chicken from the crock pot (from Allrecipes.com) and shredded. Could not find Franks so I used Cookies wing and things sauce. Everything else I followed as per the recipes. Everyone raved about it. Will definately make again. Thanks for posting.

Lap Salad

Reviewed: May 31, 2008
Yummy! Loved this! The changes I made were as following: Used seseme oil instead of actual seseme seeds (didn't have them). Toasted almonds and broke up ramen noodles which I added when I served (don't like them mushy). Did not use chicken because I used it as a side dish instead of main entree. Very very good!

Very popular for family Thanksgiving. Doubled the recipe, put some in a 13x9 pan, the remainder in a round casserole dish. Perfect for adult table, and kids table.
