Bowtie Pasta

This was really good. I gave it 4 stars because I switched it up a bit. I used olive oil instead of butter, added chopped red peppers, green onions and mushrooms. I did take out the peas because I don't like them. Added Parmesan cheese after blending the pasta and sauce together. Very yummy! Would highly recommend for a quick meal. All added ingrediates could be purchased pre-chopped to make it even faster.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

I liked the recipe, and LOVED the ease of using the crock pot. I did find it a bit bland, will make it again, but will spice it up with more spices and perhaps some sausage.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Oh my goodness....this was a huge hit. I followed a few changes. I do not like canned chicken, so I used chicken from the crock pot (from Allrecipes.com) and shredded. Could not find Franks so I used Cookies wing and things sauce. Everything else I followed as per the recipes. Everyone raved about it. Will definately make again. Thanks for posting.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Very popular for family Thanksgiving. Doubled the recipe, put some in a 13x9 pan, the remainder in a round casserole dish. Perfect for adult table, and kids table.

Easy Toffee Bars

Super yummy!!I did follow a few changes suggested by others. 1) used 1/2 tsp of vanilla after boiling sugar and butter. 2) used milk chocolate instead of semi choc. Perfer the taste over all. Also, did not put back into the over for a second time, just let the heat melt the chocolate and spread. Added almonds afterwards. Wonderful!

Nacho Cheese Sauce

Perfect basic cheese sauce. My children do not like Rotel/Velveeta mix, so I searched for something that could be made "simple" then add additional spices for the adults. This is the perfect solution.

Spinach Cheese Tortellini

Good, but very thick. I will add more milk next time (didn't measure, so may not have added as much as detailed in the recipe) I did change a few things. I used fresh spinach leaves, diced red peppers and Philly italian season creme (new product) and omitted adding italian seasoning and tomotoes (do not like them). This is a nice recipe in it would allow you to mix in any fresh vegetables that are in season.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Love this! Served for Christmas dinner and got rave reviews. The only thing I did different from what was stated in original recipe was to follow others advice in saute onions with the butter. I would recomend doing the same.

Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Addition 12/22/10: I did add an additional 1/4 to 1/2 cups more of the crushed pretzels for the crust. It helped to cover the 9x13 pan. One of my all time favorites! Great for potlucks...people always love it.

Slow-Cooked Steak Fajitas

I really liked this recipe. My only complaint would be that the meat shrank so much! I used rotella instead of tomatoes and onions and also used abt a TBS of lime juice. Cooked at low for 5 hours on low (as per others suggestions) which was the perfect amount of time. Next time I may try Sirloin instead of Flank steak, which I feel may not "shrink" up as much in the long run.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

These were really good. I minced up the onion (as per others reviews) which I really liked. I also took the foil off for the last 20 minutes and added bread crumbs. I used 3/4 cup sharp cheddar and 3/4 cup mild cheddar. Next time I will use all sharp cheddar to give a fuller flavor. Thank you for the recipe!

Layered Shrimp

Love this recipe. Have been making it for years. Can use block of cream cheese (leave it in block form) cocktail sauce mixed with small salad shrimp and dump on top ..... so quick and easy

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

Very good pork tenderloin. Loved the ease of cooking. Added an additional hour to cook time because I like my tenderloin well done. Worked well, and did not end up dry at all. Would recommend.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Yummy! Very good! I made a full loaf, 2 mini loaves, and 6 full size muffins from this batch. The only change is the time for each different one. The full loaf took appr. 65 minutes, the mini loaves appr 50 minutes and the muffins appr. 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

Sugar Coated Pecans

Oh my goodness these are soooooo good! I followed the recipe exactly as stated and they turned out perfect. I made them for a party tomorrow, but am afraid I might eat them all before I get them there! Thanks for a great recipe! Note: These got rave reviews at the party! Just like me people could not stop eating them! Will be making these on a regular basis!
